Tuition Transfer Information Sheet for New Applicants living outside the EACS School District
School Year 2020-2021
For full year: Submit application beginning May 1, 2020 with deadline of May 31, 2020.
For second semester (January - May) only: Submit application by December 4, 2020.

Please reference EACS Administrative Guideline 5118 for more detailed information on our transfer process for students who do not reside in the EACS school district.
EACS no longer charges tuition to students who attend EACS Schools through an approved tuition transfer application.
On-Time Choice Transfers (for current EACS students moving to another school within the district) will take priority over Tuition Transfers (students living outside EACS boundaries.) Acceptance of tuition transfers is dependent upon grade, building, and staffing capacities as well as program availability at the requested school.
On-time applications for full-year enrollment will be considered by the Director of Student Services for approval in June. The Office of Student Services will notify parents by letter of the decision status in July. Students may not enroll in EACS until receiving approval. On-time applications for second semester enrollment will be considered for approval in December. The Office of Student Services will notify parents by phone of the decision status prior to winter break. A confirmation letter will also be sent.
Except for unusual cases specified under federal law, tuition transfer students are not eligible for EACS busing services, to include busing to/from daycare centers, homes of relatives, etc. Parents will be responsible for providing on-time arrival and departure transportation for their student.Please contact your current school's Athletic Director with questions concerning IHSAA athletic eligibility.
Application Submission and Deadline for New Transfers
New full-year applicants must submit the tuition transfer application to EACS Student Services beginning May 1, 2020. On-time applications must be received by May 31, 2020. Applications for second semester only must be received in the office of Student Services by December 4, 2020. Please submit applications electronically or send applications to:
